About Kingdom Fresh
Kingdom Fresh Products are expertly nurtured root
crops that are grown, harvested and then frozen packed ready for
export in the Kingdom of Tonga. These products
are guaranteed in texture, taste and flavour.
Kingdom Fresh Products are grown by subsistent
means, by the honest toil of Tongan farmers, through methods and
techniques followed for centuries passed down. It is a stable part
of a Pacific Islander’s diet. It is so significant that it has been
attributed to the physical natural stature and strength of a Pacific
Islanders’ make up, the produce being high in starch, carbohydrates
and packed full of other vitamins and anti-oxidants.
The root crops can be prepared in a number of different ways other than traditionally boiled and served in coconut cream. We have enclosed a number of recipes for your taste and for some diversity.
The most important aspect of these products is that they are organically
produced free of any chemicals, due to the natural and basic methods
in which these products are farmed in Tonga.
